Stories in the Stones

Join us for our third annual dramatized cemetery tour, with local actors telling the stories of twelve of the individuals interred in historic St. Stephen's Cemetery in beautiful downtown Armonk.

This year - as in previous years - we are featuring a new set of characters, each telling the story of different people interred in our cemetery, from Civil War veterans right through to those who only passed away in the last few years. Among those featured are the Reverend Samuel Lyons, a lawyer-turned-clergyman who had only just been ordained when he succumbed to a terrible disease. We are also featuring long-time member of St. Stephen’s, Don Clausen, who passed away in 2015: interested in many things, from illustrating to botany and Little League to choral singing, he exemplifies a life well-lived.

Choose from three performances, starting at 4.00 pm, 4.30 pm and 5.00 pm. Each performance will last around 50 minutes. Tickets include cookies and hot apple cider. Bring all the family for this fun, educational and poignant window into the fascinating lives of our community’s local forebears!
