Christmas Pageant

This past year, we did our Christmas Pageant a little differently - and got the whole parish involved, too! People filmed their scenes and lines at home using a backdrop of Chromakey green screen paper, and then all the individual videos were edited together, backgrounds, graphics and music added, and the result was a really wonderful fifteen-minute video. St. Stephen’s Sunday School

This Fall of 2020, we focused on the Creation stories of the Bible.

A sample of our curriculum

At St. Stephen’s we believe that children should be nurtured and encouraged as members of our church family. We are blessed to have talented and enthusiastic Sunday School teachers to share the Good News with our youngest members. Each week our children gather for Sunday School at 10:00 am.  We use a Bible based curriculum called ‘Storymakers’, produced by talented church educators at an Episcopal Church in New York City, and available nationwide.

Each week’s lesson is accompanied by fun interactive activities. Class time runs concurrent with our worship service and is completed in time for the children to join our service and participate in Holy Communion. It is important that our children are included in worship as members of the church.

Our Sunday School runs parallel with the school year. To register your child for Sunday School, please complete this form. Children are welcome to join at any time during the year, and we will be glad to supply any learning materials that may be needed.
