You Won't Find It On a Map
The scripture readings speak of Christ as king. But most people today find the concept of kingship to be anachronistic. Fr. Garrett speaks about the many ways in which God's character runs completely counter to what we associate with historical monarchs. He asserts that the kingdom of God, the places where you can see and feel God's unconditional love and grace working, is not defined by boundaries on a map, but by the presence of followers of Christ acting out their faith.
