Taking the Initiative
The phrase "journey of faith" gets used a lot, but at the beginning of January each year we celebrate a literal excursion taken by three individuals to get close to God. In this sermon Fr. Garrett calls attention to how the travelers invested their time, treasure and security into this faith endeavor. He then contrasts a proactive pursuit of God in our lives (like the travelers) to a reactive one when our security is threatened. Bon voyage de foi!
