There’s Not an App for That
It's been said that if you don't know where you're going any road will take you there. Usually though it's better to have an idea where you want to go, and for that, you need to know the way. In this sermon Fr. Garrett lauds one of Jesus' followers for asking directly for directions so that he can get to the place Jesus is going beyond this life (John 14:1-14). The practice of faith is not one we are expected to figure out on our own without any guidance. We can ask and listen and thereby learn how to recognize the markers of God's presence, blessing and inspiration in this life and in the beyond.
