Little God Moments Can Make a Bigger Difference
Everyone loves a good life changing moment story. The problem is, those dramatic life changing moments seem to happen a lot more often to other people and in the movies than they do to us. We might yearn for that blinding light of clarity that pierces the humdrum of everyday existance, but at the end of the day still find ourselves trying to muddle along in the dimness of the ordinary. In this sermon Fr. Garrett uses the story of the dramatic and dazzling light of Jesus' transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-9) as a counterpoint to the much more frequent little God moments that we can relate to and use to see clearly how God is present and influential in our lives.
