Taking the Initiative
Early in their relationships with Jesus two individuals recognized that he was a VIP. John and Andrew used titles - "Lamb of God" and "Messiah" - that had special significance among those who were on the lookout for God's presence. How did they know? What gave them such insight before everyone else? In this sermon Fr. Garrett discusses how the active pursuit of the signs of God in our midst is more often rewarded than passive hopes that maybe God will touch our lives randomly.
