Time for Your Faith Checkup
At least once in our lives most people realize that they're feeling a little directionless. Where life is taking us and the steps we should be taking to achieve our goals are less well defined than we might wish. We crave more clarity and feedback to assess how/whether we're making progress. In this sermon Fr. Garrett explains how Jesus' use of the metaphors 'salt of the earth' and 'light of the world' give us ways to measure the effectiveness of our faith. When we start to think about faith as something we can evaluate the impact of instead of something that is more or less random and directionless, we can take charge of where we want to go with it and get energized by planning for how we will get there.
